We had a great Independence Day. Jeremy took the older 4 kids to the Butterfly Park & to get a treat in the morning. By the time they got home at 10:30ish they were sweaty & hot. We had a water balloon fight & played in the sprinkler in the afternoon & in the evening we headed to the place of some new friends we've met at church for a BBQ & firework show. They live kind of out of town a bit with some land. They have a party every year & probably 200-250 people come out for it. The food was good & the fireworks were amazing! It was seriously better than any city show I've seen except for maybe Seattle. I was impressed. Have I mentioned we've lived in Springfield for 2 years & 2 months & we are now in our 3rd ward (church congregation) & we have stayed in the same house?? It's craziness but I actually really like it. It's been fun to meet lots of new people every time they switch us around & I reaaaallllly like this newest ward we're in.
I think this is the coolest picture Jeremy took of this Praying Mantis. I think he should submit it to the National Geographic Amateur contest (if that even exists).
We are a happy family of seven living in the great state of OREGON! Jeremy has just bought his own dental practice. I get to stay home with Hyrum & Hunter, Emma & Justin, and Dallen-the best job in the world!
