Poop Camp Revisited

Starting today February 15, 2011 @ 7:30 in the AM. Please pray for me :) Seriously I just may go crazy today because I still have two 13 month olds to take care of & that 5 year old too!!!

Update on our first Poop Camp Graduate: I finally have taught him to wipe himself & it wasn't nearly as scary as I was envisioning. No poop under the fingernails, on clothes, walls, hair etc. And now I have no idea when he goes poop-no idea!!! How cool is that??

Hyrum funnies

These made me laugh. I realize these are probably only really funny to me. I like this kid.

** While playing Aliens vs. Cars, it looked like all was lost for the aliens when...

Hyrum: "Oh no, something bad is happening, the aliens are EMAILING the other aliens to come fight"

Not telling them or calling them, they were being emailed. I think Hyrum has caught on to my preferred mode of communication!

** There is an exotic dancer nightclub place (ahem, strip club) on the way to our pediatricians office & it's a pink building with blinking lights so it stands out.

Hunter: "Oh look! It's that pink house again!"

Hyrum: "Yes, Hunter, that's where they make cotton candy. Mommy, did you see that pink building? That's where they make cotton candy right, because it's so fancy?"

Me: "Riiiiiight"...

I felt this was an appropriate time to lie to my children. I'm glad they didn't notice the picture of a half-naked woman. (Man, it'll be tricky raising all these boys!!!)

** Hyrum: "Look Hunter there's a big giant hole in your sock! Hey sock, you need to be modest! Hahahaha!"

I don't remember teaching Hyrum about modesty yet but it seems he gets the picture.

** I was listening to some songs by the Kings Singers & a couple of them in a row were in Latin or Italian or something.

Hyrum: "What in the world are those words they're saying? Is that Dr. Seuss singing or something?"

Because the words were nonsense to him, get it? HAHAHAHA!

This kid makes me laugh-what a comedian ;-)

65 Degree Drop

Two Fridays ago it was in the 50's, then on Saturday it was 70 degrees (!) & we quite enjoyed being outside for those few days.

Well, Tuesday the BLIZZARD hit! I admit I was a big smuggish about it, thinking 'whatever, we lived in AA for 4 years' but in AA they take care of the roads so that's a totally different experience!

I actually loved the weather because Jeremy had 3 half days because of it. On Wednesday he & the big boys braved the 5 degree weather to go sledding behind our house. Brrr....

And what did we do the rest of the time? We spent it on our in-door tree house reading books & watching movies.

I finally got Justin "reading" on video!!! Yay! He does this all the time & it always makes me laugh. One of my favorite sights is to see is one of my kids barreling towards me with a book in their hand ready to read, whether they're 5, 3 or 1-it's the greatest!

And finally, doesn't Emma look cute as a gypsy? And Justin as a train conductor? I think Emma is going to be a girlie girl. Lately she is coming to me with a hat or bow & wants me to put it in her hair & she tries to put things around her neck for a necklace-her favorite being Hyrum's belt. I don't know where she gets it because I never wear necklaces or jewelery or bows in my hair! She's so darn cute.
