mi hermanos
So...I have been meaning to post this for a long time and finally did...I have two (awesome) brothers who both live far away (Hawaii and Utah) but by some sort of amazing fate are both moving to Pennsylvania (Pittsburgh and Erie) THIS SUMMER for the next three years with their (adorable) families!

So we will all be within 4 1/2 hours of each other. What are the chances, right? I realized the last time we were all together for, say, Christmas was in 2001 and since then we have added two spouses and four grandchildren so I am very excited to be able to spend more time all together.

OK, Mom and Dad we're just waiting for you two to move out this way!

For Family Home evening the other night Jeremy taught a lesson on faith, comparing it to a seed, so of course we had to plant something. Hyrum planted some basil and some sweet peas in a planter we have on the porch. He had so much fun and was very excited to help out. Hope something actually sprouts. It brought back good memories of having a garden growing up and how much fun it was to grow things and to of course eat them later on. I am SO excited to have a garden someday!!!

Hyrum's new craze is playing "pillows" where he piles our many pillows on the floor in front of the couch and proceeds to jump, roll, bounce etc. from one to the other. It amazes me how long this can hold his attention.

daddy & son camp out

I just have to say that Jeremy is a brave, brave man. He took Hyrum camping with our ward this past Friday night and it sounds (and looks from pictures) like they had a fun time. Jeremy said Hyrum's favorite thing to do was to go in and out of the tent and then of course eating an ENTIRE 'smore all by himself. He didn't go to bed until 10pm which is unheard of and so he slept like a rock the entire night and had to be woken up to eat breakfast. We have been toying with the idea of taking our boys camping this summer and I think we may actually attempt it now after this trial run. I think the key would be to have them stay up so late they will sleep soundly, oh and also upgrading from a 2-man tent to something a little larger may help. I was so excited that Hyrum was old enough to do something fun like this with his Dad.

One more year to go before I leave the 20's behind forever! Jeremy is the best husband, he surprised me with a beautiful bouquet of my favorite flowers-tulips! He also surprised me with some new piano music, the movie 'Willow' (I know I am a nerd but I LOVE this movie), my favorite chocolate pretzels, and my Mom's scrumptious carrot/pineapple cake (the best cake in the world!) and we were able to enjoy a fun evening walking around downtown window shopping.

First time for everything...All 3 of my boys smiling in the same picture! Hopefully we'll have a lot more of these to come!
