A much needed first haircut

Jeremy accomplished what I was too afraid to try-cutting Hyrum's long hair. And he did a great job! Hyrum didn't like the buzzer until we distracted him with playing in the sink and then he forgot all about what was going on with his head. Good job Jeremy!

Oh that's so cute he was scared of the razor! Isn't it funny that you can help kids forget their fear by just distracting them!?! Jeremy did a great job! Hyrum looks adorable!

smart move?! Such a cute red hair! I never asked you or maybe I did... Who has read hair in your families?
Wow, I still have my "personal" revelation...that when Hyrum grows up he'll become an athlete, a football player most likely or a basketball player.
I tell you this boy will become a tall one. Of course we can't have "revelations" like that seriously about others ( your friends' kids) but hey, wouldn't it be fun if it really happens.
I can just see you Meg cheering him at the games.
Okay, again, am bias...athletes. I guess all I think is athletes..:)

Looks like it turned out VERY CUTE. We didn't give Ethan his first haircut until he was 19 months old, and we still haven't given Rachel hers, so you did pretty good, timing wise, it sounds like. :) Ethan watched a movie through his whole first haircut, so he was really distracted, and didn't even notice! I wish that I could say that about his other haircuts! :) He's not a big fan!!

Jeremy, I don't mean to be a glass-is-half-empty kind of guy, but I think maybe that while you're doing such a great job attending to your son's grooming, you may be starting to slack a little bit on your own upkeep. A couple minutes in a shower can go a long way, buddy.
