green thumb
For Family Home evening the other night Jeremy taught a lesson on faith, comparing it to a seed, so of course we had to plant something. Hyrum planted some basil and some sweet peas in a planter we have on the porch. He had so much fun and was very excited to help out. Hope something actually sprouts. It brought back good memories of having a garden growing up and how much fun it was to grow things and to of course eat them later on. I am SO excited to have a garden someday!!!

Hyrum's new craze is playing "pillows" where he piles our many pillows on the floor in front of the couch and proceeds to jump, roll, bounce etc. from one to the other. It amazes me how long this can hold his attention.

I'll send you a pict of H. Last ngiht we did some planting ourselves, and she somehow made a small container of dirt "poof" all over her face! It was hilarious!

Oh, and the pillow thing? That's the BEST!!! The house I was very small in had a stairway with an open landing (no rail or banister) next to the living room. We'd spread out the couch cushions and pillows and dive on right in!!! That's probably one of my best childhood memories. . . . Hannah actually had a couple of computer cases behind our couch, and she'd climb up on them and then dive over the back of the couch and roll onto the cushions. There was no way I could actually tell her no! :-D
