The last week of February was Jeremy's "spring" break and we LOVED having him home for 9 days straight!!! I forgot to take a lot of pictures but these are the few we took. We didn't do anything exciting but loved relaxing together. We had a family movie night and Hyrum chose 'Ratatouille' (I think Hunter looks really funny in this picture!)
Jeremy and I each took Hyrum on a one-on-one date. I took him to the Children's Museum and to 'Old McDonalds' for lunch and Jeremy took him to go see 'The Tale of Despereaux' at the dollar theater. It was fun to have one-on-one time with the Bug at home too.
And of course we had many dance parties. This has become a favorite in our home lately. The boys hear music and they know what to do. You should really come see some of Hunter's moves-that boy has rhythm!

I also had my very first experience with Ikea and for someone who hates to go shopping it was such a fun store! We didn't get anything (except for some plastic cups and bowls) but it's always fun to dream, right?
You know how kids say things in public that are embarrassing? Well, we have never experienced that with Hyrum really...until the other day at the store. There was a woman wearing extremely short shorts and she was with her daughter picking out beans or olives or something and we come strolling along the aisle. Hyrum stops (right next to the woman), points to the woman, looks at me with a big smile and says rather loudly...H: Mommy!! That man doesn't have any pants on Mommy!!! (note: it really was a WOman)
M: OK, shhhh
H: But Mommy! That man doesn't have any pants on at all Mommy!!
M: OK! Let's just go pick out the jam, hurry!
H: But Mommy, Mommy, Mommy
Jeremy and I had a very good laugh over that one later on.

cute pictures Megan! I really like the one of them laughing too! I'm sure that will be the first of many embarrasing things your kids will say.. if they're anything like mine. :)
Your family is so cute! I'm glad you got to spend time with Jeremy. I love the dance party pictures - brings back so many good memories. And that story is hilarious! SO funny!
Looks like y'all are having a great time! Sophie calls it "Old McDonalds".
These are great pictures. I am glad that you guys got to spend some time together. Looks like you had a blast. We had an experience kind of like that, at McDonalds, with Rachel, there was a lady with white hair and Rachel said (very loudly), "Hey Mommy, look over there it's a witch with white hair!!" It was so crazy. Kids say the darndest things, don't they?
YEAH for Spring Break! I am glad he had 9 days off! Don't you love IKEA? It's so fun there. Thanks again for the call!
What fun! We too used to visit "Old Macdonald's" as Brynne would call it. Dance parties are the best. I think we get the most laughs out of those times. Glad to see you all are having so much fun.
Megan, I just wanted to say hi since I didn't have a chance to talk to you at institute yesterday. It was fun to see you there....since I don't know how long it's been since I've seen you. We need to have another D-3 get together! Anyway, I always love the fun pics you post on your blog. It looks like you had a great time over spring break!
Oh, I just love looking at great pictures of such a great little family! Seriously, it's so happy to see so much fun! I love it and it makes me smile. I most especially got a kick out of the little supermarket incident. That's really hilarious!! Did you ever look at the lady to see her reaction at all? Naturally you want to avoid any eye contact after such a thing,I'm sure, but I don't think I could resist a peek at the poor person's face. Well, I guess it would give you all the more reason to feel horrible....so, yeah, I guess it would just be better to move on, don't look and pretend no one heard anything, huh?
Funny stuff!!!
Megan...you really are the cutest mom. I love the pictures of your dance party w/the boys. And I was dying laughing about the "man" in the store w/out pants! The other day Hunter said "you have crazy hair" to the bagger at the grocery store w/pink hair. Good thing she laughed!!
nice one hyrum. I like how he thought the pantless woman was funny.
buggity doesn't look like a baby anymore does he. He looks soooo big! i can't believe it. I guess we haven't seen you guys since christmas, right? but i can't believe he has changed that much so quick
