Baby Shakes 3 & 4

That's right, this Shakespear family will be welcoming TWINS to our home January 24th 2010 (or hopefully a couple of weeks before)

Need proof? Because I did...

Aren't they too cute side by side?

Our reactions to the news:

We are way too excited (and still in a bit of shock!)

Random Information:

I am 15 weeks along today and yes I'm showing like I was 25 weeks along

They each have their own sack and placenta, which is the healthiest for the the babieS(!) so they are probably fraternal but there is still a very small chance that they could be identical

We haven't found out the genders yet but will sometime in August

I have been super sick this time, just like the previous two pregnancies but am feeling much better now (more on that at a later post)

At first I wanted two girls but then I was admiring Hunter's extreme cuteness one night on the porch and got very sad (almost panicky) about the thought of never having another little boy, so basically we will be super happy with whatever we get but if I COULD choose it would be one of each

We are calling them Hazel and Howard until further notice

Hunter turns 2 on January 8th and Hyrum turns 4 on January 26th so January will be our party month-come party with us!

I think it's a really cool story so I will share a part. I get really sick when I am pregnant, where I am not able to really function. I have always wanted 4-6 kids but with each pregnancy it gets harder and worse. I was worried that I wouldn't be able to do this again but I really wanted at least 4! So I started hoping and actually praying for twins this time around. Moral of the story is to be careful what you pray for because Heavenly Father will answer prayers! And I'm so glad He did and that this is actually happening. I am a bit anxious too but mostly grateful.

Who wouldn't want two more of these cuties at the same time!!!

YEAHHH!!!! I am SOOO incredibly excited for you. It makes me even more excited to know other people that will be having twins! When I was pregnant with my girls, sometimes I would think about it and it would just make me smile out of pure shock that it was happening to me! And after they were born I still marveled many times that I had twins! I was thinking too that what else is the same for us, is that by the time we were done with optometry school we had four kids too! And so will you with dental school!!! Too funny. I can't wait to find out the big news this month!!!! Love Ruth

EEEK!!! WOw!! Welcome to the twin club!!! I'm over here laughing because I am in shock and am reliving my experience of when we found out about our twins. It was all emotions mixed into one big ball. I'm happy to hear that they have their own placentas & sacs though...with ours we were worried that they were in the same sac with the same placenta. Luckily, they had their own sacs, but they shared the same placenta which caused some issues for us later, but it all worked out in the end. Wow. If you want to call and talk or need to talk, you are more than welcome to call me, or I can call you...I have free long distance:) I'll give you my number on Facebook. Wow. Congrats. My own stomach is doing flips right now...I know exactly what you are going through.:)

HOLY TALITO!(sp?) I was so excited to find out you were pregnant, and then of course I'm ecstatic to find out you're having twins! I must admit I think twins would so fun, but also hard (at least in the baby stages); but if anyone can do it, it's certainly you and Jeremy--two of the most patient, kind people I know. And it certainly will be nice getting 2 babies with 1 pregnancy! I'm so excited to find out what sex they are...be sure and keep us posted.

YIPPEEEE! TWINS!!!!!!

CONGRATULATIONS! That is super exciting! I'm glad your starting to feel better - that's got to be so hard to be sick with two active boys. I can't wait to hear what the genders are. They are just going to be so cute!!

Isn't it so much more fun to tell people you are having twins than just to tell them you are pregnant?! After I had my twins I always felt sorry for people who only got one baby. Congratulations!
