Poop Camp Graduate

I have sadly neglected to mention Hyrum's star performance at Poop Camp this year. We started on August 15th and it's safe to say he was completely potty-trained by the 17th or 18th, even at night he just gets up to go!!! The first couple of days were a bit tricky with a few accidents because I think he was hoping we would give up and put him back in his beloved diapers but by the end of the 2nd day he knew we weren't going to give up so he just went with it. What a pro. Every time he went he got one treat and a sticker and after 10-15 stickers he could choose a dollar store present and that really kept him going. When the chart was full we celebrated at Jump City.

I think it helped that he was older and I think it was worth it to wait longer (at least for Hyrum) and not have to deal with too many accidents. Too bad we'll still have 3 in diapers for about a year starting in January-oh well maybe Hunter will go sooner!

Here is a photo I found of Hunter that Jeremy took a couple months ago, I think it perfectly represents him

YAYAYY!!! Isn't it great? Although there are days when I'm cleaning our bathroom I wonder if it would be easier to change a diaper. Kidding. Boys are just a bit messy.

I so wish i could come over and help you change all those cute, tiny diapers in January.

Good job Hyrum!!

I really like the potty chart you made for him! What a fantastic incentive for a little boy. Awesome idea. And that jump place sounds amazing!

That's awesome, Hyrum! Nice Job!!!

finally getting updated on the past month and a half of blog posts--so much to say but so little time to do it! Love your belly, please show us more picts as you get bigger? please??? ;) Love seeing your boys at play, they're such cuties! Happy Anniversary!!!! Those ice cream desserts are pure INSANITY. (YUM!) Awww...fall in MI...that was prob my fav thing too. I miss apple picking, cider, pumpkin patches... :( Yay! Cute baby girl clothes, and so special that you have those blessing gowns!

Don't you worry so much about having a girl. ;) It's just as much fun as having a boy, but fun in different ways: lots of pink (even if you swore you wouldn't, she'll pick it up from somewhere!!!), dancing, princesses, and non-stop talking once she's about 2.5 or 3!!!! You'll soon realize how much you talk in a day by listening to her!!!! LOL!!!! Your girl will probably be a little tom-boyish, too, though, wanting to be just like her big brothers. (I was one of five ;) ) Aw, Hyrum & Hunter will be the sweetest big brothers!!!! What a nice thought....Little girls need sweet older brothers.... :) Trust me, I KNOW!
