Mobile Baby

I love this picture.  I love this baby so much.  I'm afraid I spoil him in some ways but I just can't help it - he's the sweetest thing.  He has been doing this scooting/lunge thing to get around the last couple weeks.  But today he actually crawled, just a few little crawls here & there.  Mainly as an attempt to get at the picnic the kids were eating for lunch.  He likes eating real food instead of baby food.  He's even tried some Indian food (at least the sauce part) & loved it.  He has figured out a sippy cup & had his first hair trim.  I wasn't ready to buzz his whole head but I trimmed the hair just around his ears.  He has always struggled with sleeping at night & will never go back to sleep unless he nurses (or if Daddy holds him) but he has consistently been sleeping 10-12 hours only nursing once a night.  I know he's too big for even that but for him it's fabulous!

He is growing up way too fast for my liking.  He is #5 around here but it's still just as exciting & cute when he learns new things as it was with #1.

Nana & Poppie came for a week long visit & these are the 2 photos we have to show for it.  I don't know what's wrong with me!  How did I forget the camera??  I've promised myself I'll take loads at Christmas when we get to hang out with them all again.  They took the kids to the zoo & the park & we had a bonfire.  Fun times!

We have our very first family pets.  Meet Nibble & Wiggle.  Whichever one happens to be more active when we're looking in the tank is Wiggle & whichever one seems to be eating something is Nibble.  They are two tadpoles which better turn into two frogs (& not two giant lockness monsters).  I don't know if they really count as pets because I just wanted to observe their metamorphosis & once that happens we will probably release them into the wilds of Springfield =)  But for now they're pets.  It counts because we've named them & we feed them.

Nana & Poppie were here during General Conference.  Always a favorite weekend around here.  I loved President Monson & President Uchtdorf & President Eyring's talks the most I think.

We also decorated for Halloweeeen!

Hyrum wraps up his first season of soccer (or of any sport) tomorrow.  He loves it.  And I love that he loves it & is willing to try new things.  Good job Hyrum!

Your kids are so cute Megan! And the twins...wow, they're not babies anymore! I would love to hear how it has been having just one baby after twins--though from what I read, it's been going great! So glad Jeremy's parents came to visit. I love that you put up the First Presidency and 12 Apostles on the mantle during conference. I think to think of that next year. Dallen is just so cute and it sounds like he is sleeping well! Wish we could visit you guys.

Hi Megan, just wanted to say reading about your little one sleeping gave me some hope. My 1 st baby was an excellent sleeper, but my 2nd isn't (he's nursing every 2hrs most nights at 5mths).
You have a beautiful family.
