Conference & Baseball
So, some things have happened in the last couple of weeks, as it usually does. Dallen is now 19 months old & has finally decided he should be feeding himself during meals. I have gladly relinquished that responsibility to him. Clean up after meals does seem to take longer than before though! He continues to be slightly obsessed with shoes-especially those that are way too big for his feet.
Who said beds are for sleeping? More like jumping around here!
I finished doing my month of co-op preschool & it's now another Moms turn. I was really nervous at first because I've only done this with 3 kids in the past & this group is 6 plus Hunter likes to participate. But it was actually a lot of fun & the kids are really sweet. AND Dallen went to play at a friend's house or Daddy took care of him so that helped a ton. I have a long break before I teach again at the end of April.
One incredibly rainy & windy weekend we drove up to Lacey to spend a day with my parents. Jeremy & I were able to go up to the temple for a date night sans children. While we were gone my parents took all 5 kids to a ward potluck! The next day we went to see the Mariner's play one of their last baseball games of the season. Of course we bought nose bleed section seats but after a couple of innings we decided to go sit down on the first level-hardly anyone was there! I'm so glad we did-not long after we sat down one of our players hit a grand slam!!!! I don't remember ever seeing that in person before-very exciting! The kids all had fun & lasted through the 7th inning stretch.
Hmmmmmm....butter. Want a biscuit with that butter Dallen??
Last weekend was General Conference for our church. We enjoyed hearing from our prophet & apostles & other leaders of our church. I loved the music too. We have conference twice a year & it always comes when I really need to feel uplifted & strengthened. Can't wait to rewatch it & also read their talks in the Ensign magazine later. It was a beautiful weekend & we tried to get out in between sessions & have fun outside too.
Flight of the pelican birds!
There were little plants everywhere & with the wind blowing it made them look like they were writing messages in the sand-so cool.
I'm sure Jeremy got a lot out of this talk :-)
The kids all finished their conference work books so we celebrated later in the week with a pizza & movie party. This was the first conference that Hyrum took notes-pretty cool to have a bigger kid around.

You guys look so happy! Fun that you got to go to a Baseball game with your parents! Love that your main pic of you and Jeremy is in front of my parent's house from our visit. Lookin good Shakespears! :)
Fabulous pictures and fabulous memories!
That picture where you're all walking through the grass reminds me of that scene in Jurassic Park 3 when all those guys are running away from teh velociraptors in the field.
What a fun visit to see your parents. I love that they took them to a potluck by themselves--you've got great parents! Conference was great, wasn't it?!
