The Big 3-1
I am married to a man in his "30's". Doesn't seem quite possible, but I must say 40 is looking younger and younger to me :)
Happy Birthday Babe!!!
Friday we went out to eat at Red Robin and enjoyed a free meal and sundae. Jeremy has wanted to see "I am Legend" so I actually RENTED it from BLOCKBUSTER as a surprise that night. That may not seem like a big deal, but for us that is a huge deal. We hardly even go to the dollar theater anymore, we are the wait until it comes to the library type. As an example, we just watched the 3rd Pirates movie like 3 weeks ago, sad I know.
Anyway, today when Jeremy came home we had the house somewhat decorated and I made a chocolate/strawberry cake and Jeremy was good humored enough to wear the crown I made for him. We also enjoyed some delicious Chinese food-yum!
I just have to say what an amazing man I am married to! He is the most humble, "real", loving, calm, fun, hard-working, handsome person I know. He is the best Daddy in the world and the best husband a girl could want. He spends all the spare time he has with his family and I love him for it! I love life with him!

Happy Easter
Despite the snow and cold weather we had a fun Easter weekend. Saturday we hid like 30 something plastic eggs in our basement, with candy and plastic dinosaurs in them, for Hyrum to find. He was very excited about it. We also decorated and dyed 14 hard boiled eggs, and now we just have to figure how we're going to eat 14 hardboiled eggs in the next few days.
Today (Sunday) we showed Hyrum about 12 pictures of Jesus from birth to resurrection and talked about His life and sang songs about Him. It took a little while but Hyrum paid attention pretty well and has talked about how Jesus' body was put in a cave and now he has his body back so hopefully some of it sank in a bit. Hunter, of course, played the part of the smiley, happy baby all weekend.
One sad note, when I went to the store Saturday I couldn't find peeps anywhere-you know those delicious sugar encrusted chicken and bunny shaped marshmallows?? Everyone thinks they're disgusting but somehow I like them. I had a friend in high school that liked them as well and we had a peep stuffing contest one time to see how many peeps we could fit in our mouths. The good ol' days, well, hopefully next year!

2 months, 2 days
Hunter had his 2 month check up today and oh boy he's big (-: The not-so-little-man of ours weighed in at 14 pounds (off the charts) and was 25 inches long (97th percentile) and his head was in the 75th percentile, far from Hyrum's perpetual 10th percentiled head. So, I've decided Hyrum has Jeremy's long, nicely shaped head and Hunter has my big, round head. Sorry Hunt. He had four shots which were not fun but the lil' trooper only cried for 2 minutes and then he was fine. I remember Hyrum wailing for 30+ minutes with his shots, so I was pleasantly surprised. He slept most of the day away and thanks to some Tylenol was his normal cheerful self.
A little update on Hyrum...he has been the most cheerful, sweet, happy little 2 year old boy that I know of the last few days. He has gone running around the house saying "Hyrum happy!", telling me "I love you Mommy" or "Thankums Mommy" or "Good job, Mommy" and saying "Hunter so cute". He has cheefully let me change his diaper and when I suggest taking a nap he beats me to his room. Where is my child?!?! Who knows, maybe the "terrible twos" are over for us! I feel so blessed to have two such happy, healthy little boys!

whatta guy
OK, so Hunter is so cool, last night he slept for SEVEN hours straight!!! And then another 3 hours after I nursed him. He has done 6 hours a couple times but it's usually 4 or 5 hours the first stretch at night. I am really hoping this will be his new thing. Of course Jeremy and I watched a 2 hour movie after he went to bed (Amazing Grace-very, very good) but I still got five hours at once. Whatta, whatta guy. So, last night we all went to Jump City with some friends for their family fun night-pizza, cookies, drinks, balloons, and lots and lots of jumping! Hyrum had tons of fun, despite the fact that he fell flat on his head and got a real nice rug burn on his forehead and nose (-:

Fun week
Jeremy had his spring break last week, the word "spring" being relative. I guess it didn't snow every day, just most days :) We had both sets of our parents in town for Hunter's baby blessing. It was so fun having everyone here in our home and Hyrum was quite ecstatic to have four additional playmates. The blessing was beautiful! The week went by WAY too fast but it was definitely fun while it lasted.

Dentist in training??
So, a couple days ago Hyrum was playing with a tool set he got for his birthday (thanks Ben & Telia!) and he decided that his friend Mr. "Pato"-head was missing out, so he ran and got him and started working on the poor spud's teeth. I asked him what he was doing and he said fixing his teeth. So, like father like son, eh? I'm just not so sure about those tools he used.......

Little Man

So, Hunter and I are home from church today so I thought we would have a little fashion show and try on some of his churchy clothes to see if they fit and they did (thanks Ruth!!!!!) and he was being just about as cute as can be! He is such a little smiler, I had to share a couple of the pictures-what a handsome little man!

Happy Valentines Day
So, here are some pictures of us and the boys on Valentine's day. Hunter definitely wins the cutest baby of the year award for smiling at his Mom so much-I just love it! Hyrum and I made cards and a Texas sheet cake for Jeremy for V-day (and I got him a Jack Johnson CD too) and Jeremy brought home a delicious box of chocolates that he hand picked himself from one of our favorite places to go get a treat. (The Chocolate House) Oh and some choc covered pretzels-yum! I have a new goal this time around though, to just eat one chocolate per day instead of scarfing it down within two or three days. So far I've done good but then I've only been going for a couple of days, so here's to self control! Friday night we went to the Institute building for the "sweetheart dance" which was very fun. We really do need more adult dance activities in the church! Like say every month or so. While we were dating/engaged and first married Jeremy and I went dancing a lot (at all the free stake dances up at BYU) but we haven't gone for probably 2 1/2 years now. Then Saturday night we had a candlelight dinner at home thanks to The Shalimar (the BEST EVER Indian food!) We decided since we didn't have to give a tip since we didn't have a waiter maybe this is the way to eat out:) (Is that really bad??)
And today I actually was able to go to church for the first time in like 4/5 weeks thanks to my trusty breast pump and a wonderful husband!
