Our friend Telia was giving free swim lessons this past week for dental student families. Hyrum spent most of his time crying in the pool but by the last day he had improved so much! He didn't even cry after she dunked him all the way under. I must say that he has never clung to me so tight in his entire life! Thanks Telia for being so patient and so great with the kids! (It was a little too cold for Hunter this time, but hopefully next time he can get in as well)

Lou - good job at getting them started soon. Do you remember how we learned to swim? or I mean, didn't! Tunie didn't teach me to swim until I was like 12! I almost drowned in a river when I was 11 - and I think that meant I was allowed to learn. So anyway - good work on starting pooper out on it early. You'll have to come to the 'beach' in Erie and have fun fun.
Boys are so much fun aren't they! Right now my two big boys can't get enough of Baby Colby hopefully they don't smother him too much. If Hryum likes cooking you should watch Iron chef America with him. Colin can't get enough of it and asks questions through the whole thing.
Looks like fun! Sophie has decided that she loves!!! swimming after swimming in a hotel pool in Louisville a few weekends ago. We went out this morning and found a cute kiddie pool for the backyard...you guys should come down and swim in it :).
That is so cool that she was giving free lessons. We want to give our kids swimming lessons, but I am trying to figure when the best time is.
That's so great that Telia can teach all the kids lessons!! I was just chatting with some friends yesterday and wondering who in our ward could do the same thing with our kids. Pools here are necessities come July and August!
