last week

Hunter loves books now. Especially ones about animals. I don't know why but I love to catch my kids "reading" on their own.

I made Hunter a hat the other day and this is how he felt about it.

I found this one day in my kitchen. I guess I should keep the dishwasher door closed now!

In Hyrum news, this week he fell down our basement stairs. If you had to choose stairs to fall down, these would not be it. They are steep, narrow and very hard. I was nursing Hunter upstairs when I heard horrible crashing and even more horrible screaming. Poor kid. It could have been SO much worse and all he got was a fat lip for a day and a goose egg on the back of his head. I love having boys and I want more boys in our family but I don't know if I'm ready for all the unavoidable accidents that go along with them!

Poor, poor Hyrum! That picture is classic though...what a little boy. :)
The picture of Hyrum totally reminds me of Felix's favorite spot to perch at that age, and I LOVE how you've successfully taught both of your boys to devour books. Way to go!
Oh, and are you guys in town over the break???

What super star readers you have!!! Just like Mommy--you are an awesome example to them! :)

I totally understand how you feel about having boys. It can be so nerve-wracking sometimes. You are a great Mom to boys though!! You should have a bazillion of them!!

Poor Hyrum! That is so scary, hearing a thud and then crying! I am glad that he is going to be okay and doesn't need stitches or anything like that! We enjoyed getting your Christmas card! :) We hope that you guys have a fabulous Christmas! We love you all!

It's not just boys that have these types of accidetns. Sophie did the same thing a few months ago and had quite the lip for a few days! Luckuily mouths heal pretty quick.

Poor Hyrum. I agree. I love boys, but sometimes I just want to put them in bubble wrap. I guess I want that for Audrie too.
