We left Friday at 2pm to go to Brimley and Sault Sainte Marie in the Upper Penninsula of Michigan. It takes five long hours to drive there. We got back this evening at 7pm and out of the 29 hours we were gone we spent probably 13 or more hours in the car.
Jeremy has had over half of his rotations up there and we wanted to see it too.
The boys love sleeping in hotels and eating in restaurants so despite the long hours in the car they had fun

This is what Hyrum thinks of throwing rocks in Lake Superior in 40 degree weather and horridly cold wind

Lake Superior! It is amazing that Michigan is the opposite side from Minnesota. When we lived in MN, we would often go up to the Lake and experience much of the same weather that you did. No matter how cold and deep it is, it is so beautiful though. It was my "Oregon Coast" in the midwest.
So cute!!! Your family is so cute. I am so glad that we are friends and that I have the chance to see what you are up to. I can't wait to see more in the future.
Love the pictures of your boys and how different they are! Did Hunter climb into that drawer all by himself?
Your boys have such FUN expressions on there faces! That is so great that you captured them on camera! :) Sounds like your trip was great! I gave you a call yesterday, give me a call back when you get a chance (hope we can chat soon!). We heard about your dad! He and your family is in our prayers! Love you!
