This was a big day (for me anyway). Hyrum went to church for the first time as a Sunbeam! I can't believe I have a kid old enough to be in Primary. I guess I'm still in a bit of shock. I love that I get to serve in Primary as a leader and was able to watch him at least before he headed off to class. He did great and tried to be reverent and sing the songs and keep his arms folded. He got a new pen for having a January birthday and made a crown that said 'I am a Child of God' on it and he seemed really excited about everything. He did say 'Mommy I was tired after singing that song we sang for a million times' :)
(In our church kids ages 3-12 go to Primary- after the family meeting called Sacrament Meeting-and are divided into classes according to age to sing songs about and learn about Jesus and His gospel. Before this they go to nursery where they mostly play and eat, so it's a bit of a transition!)

Eli did not like it at all. I had to sit with him the whole time. Hopefully next week will go better.
PS glad you found the Cars. I got ours at Target in the toy section. I think I got some at Walmart too.
Also, I girl in our ward is having her babies (a boy and a girl) on Wednesday. I think of you every time I talk to her. Good luck!! I'm so excited for you!
I played the piano in Primary today and got to see all the new Sunbeams! One of my friends here had her boy in there for the first time today too, and he was so cute and kept waving at me. I can't imagine Connell doing that next year! I'm glad Hyrum did so well!

Hyrum is sooooo cute! I love that we all have these little Primary kids now. Its soo fun to see all our little boys growing up!

H loved it too, I'm so glad. :) Our nursery got a few previews of Primary last month, which I think was a great help for all the new Sunbeams.
I didn't realize that Hyrum and Rachel are in the same Primary class year. Will they go into Kindergarten at the same time too? I think so. It was really exciting to have Rachel and Ethan both in there together now. I think that is comforting to Ethan. He's in CTR 5. Cool that you have one in Primary now! :) I guess all of your kiddos will go in when they are almost 4, because of their January birthdays. :)
