Shakespearean Holidays
Ahh, it was a merry Christmas to be sure

Here we all are in one shot
We spent 8 days & 9 nights with Jeremy's family & we had a blast! We all felt spoiled on Christmas morning.

One of my favorite gifts the boys received were some matching cowboy outfits from Uncle Steven. The boys make cute cowboys & I'm seeing some future Halloween costumes here too

Everyone liked the hats but Miss Emma
Hyrum & Hunter loved seeing their cousins! Even a +6 year age gap didn't seem to make a difference :)

The gingerbread houses were a hit

I still can't get over the nice weather! It rained a bit & Texas can get chilly but we had nice enough weather to be outside a few days.

Emma loved the sand & surprisingly it was Justin & not her that kept trying to eat it...eww...

Loving the train ride

Justin looks so cute in his hood. BTW this kid is going crazy walking! He was definitely walking more than crawling today. Although he walks well on his own he loves to hold one of my fingers & walk around together-it's so cute!
Trying to fix Steven's remote-controlled helicopter. The boys thought that was awesome & so did Jeremy, I may know what to get him for his birthday now :)

Exploring the river

Doesn't it look like Justin's taking a big bite out of that dino?

We watched some good movies on the new big screen! Nana & Poppie have 4 red-headed grandkids out of 8!

I love PF Chang's, oh how I love that place. And I love that there is one in St. Louis because I just don't think I can wait to eat there again until we're back in Austin. As much as I love their entree's I just may order the lettuce wrap appetizer for my meal next time. Alison & Michael introduced us to a delicious Indian food place & that's going on the permanent must-do list for Austin. I have missed Indian food!

This is Justin's reaction to Amy's ice cream & really any desserty, chocolatey, sweety thing we have tried to feed him. Who is this kid? Can he really be mine?

New Year's Eve fireworks on the driveway
I like this picture. It reminds me of Harry Potter-when he & Voldemort's wands are connected, spooooky
And then the 8 days came to an end (went by fast!) & we had the long drive home again. Highly recommend getting Magna Doodles for the car (& of course a stack of movies). This is Hyrum's dancing tooth to the left & frog to the right. I love this kids drawings!

All 4 kids were amazing on the drive there & back-just a little whiney here & there. It took 9 hr 45 min on the way down & 8 hr 52 min back. Only down side was Hyrum puking twice in the car on the way home. Poor kid! Luckily we were within a half hour of home. He did NOT feel good!

It was a spectacular holiday week! Thanks Shakespear's for showing us a grand time!
Emma doesn't want to walk yet but she loved to walk around using Sadie's bike as her walker-she got pretty quick
Emma pushing Justin on the bike
Justin thinks it's great fun to crawl behind Em but she does not like it! The annoying little brother routine is already in place (ah ha Lu!)
Now it's time to make some goals for the year & enjoy our birthday month!

(oh, I miss TX right now!)
Hey Guys! R u guys in Austin, Texas? We love PF changs too! Wish we had one near us here in east Texas. It looks like you had lots of fun for Christmas! Your babies r so cute!!!
Looks like a fun trip. I thought the video of Justin following Emma was hilarious. That is totally something that Evan would do, just to get a reaction. The cutest was Emma's look once she stands like" What in the world are you doing?" So cute! Enjoy your birthday month!
What fun pictures! I am especially impressed that you were able to get a picture of Jeremy's whole family! That is hard to do! I also love the drawings on the magna doodle- cute!
Looks like you had such a fun Christmas. It was really neat to see a picture of Jeremy's whole family. We enjoyed getting your Christmas card, and hope that you got ours too. :) Hope all is well in the Shakespear Household! Sure do Love ya & Miss ya too! :)
What a fun Christmas!!! That is great you had some fun outside time too...the perks of going South!
as usual, love 'em all! (the kids AND the picts/movies!)
When Aub was little, she didn't really like sweets either. Then one day (it seemed like it came out of the blue) she became a sugar fiend! Now I have to use all kinds of tricks to get her to eat her veggies and fruit!
