June 2016
Hyrum & Hunter had a good baseball season & it came to the end with a tournament in the middle of June. I was only able to go to one game & mostly stayed home with the baby but it seemed like they had a good time.
Summer lovin'!
We had some friends over for dinner & they made homemade Japanese food - yum! It was a lot of work though & a huge mess!
I got new workbooks for the kids to do during the summer a couple weeks before school was out. You would have thought it was Christmas the way most of them reacted. It was so funny how excited they were & Justy is already done with all 453 pages :)
Emma lost her two front teeth & looks so cute!
Introducing Eliza to the rescue bots
Dallen was helping me with dinner & I was cutting up onions & it really stung his eyes. He was NOT a fan of that experience but the only good part was that he wanted to snuggle for 20 minutes afterwards.
Hunter wrote a favorite things list
Hunter calls this his marvelous sandwich - tomatoes, mayo, spinach, cheese & mustard
Hyrum & Hunter completely rocked it at the piano recital. Hunter didn't even seem nervous! Who is this kid? They both played perfectly. Jeremy had a dental conference in Seattle that weekend so he missed it but I made a video & luckily my parents came down to help.
Playing in the yard!
My 3 favorite pictures of Eliza
Jetty adventure
Found this outside our room one evening
Justin says Eliza looks like an angel when he puts the blanket around her like this - so sweet
Lookin' good for Sunday
Moooooo.....
Zzzzzzzzzzz
Dallen read the whole first box of BOB books & he's read a bunch of the other books too
Eliza, Dallen & I went with Jeremy & Hunter on Hunter's field trip to the zoo. Dallen & I made a top 5 list of animals we wanted to make sure we saw. One of them was naked mole rats - I love that those made his top 5 list :)
Dallen got hurt one afternoon & was so upset that Emma tucked him into his bed & he fell right asleep.
Kids with their teachers Hyrum had Mrs. Simonsen, Hunter had Mrs. Downes & Emma & Justin had Mrs. Johnson. We were so happy with our teachers & how well the kids did in school & how much they loved going every day (well almost every day!)
Eliza meeting herself for the first time - it was super cute! She was very excited
Dallen loves being like the bigger kids in any way. So Hyrum made his whole day by giving him one of his ties. He has been obsessed with wearing it ever since.
Crazy mirrors!
Hyrum & Hunter spent the last week of June at cub scout day camp & they had a blast fishing, biking, shooting, doing crafts & archery etc. So grateful for dedicated leaders who are willing to put so much effort & time into planning these activities.
They also went on a scout hike in June up partway on Tillamook Head.
